After a couple fights going on, Gallant thows a Charlotte players helmet in the stands. Also hits 1500 penaly minutes for his career. Angle also fought during scrum. Other than that, still getting beat 3-0.

Today has got to be their worst lineup of the season right?

Pretty much. I fell asleep and woke up just before the fights happened. Pretty boring game so far.

Edit: Monsters come close, give a good effort in the 3rd, but lose 3-2.

Nice to see both teams wish our retiring penalty box operator well. We sat next to him one year and talked to him throughout our seasons here and he is a real nice guy. Sad to see him go.

Just tuned in to witness Monsters give up two shorties in a span of 30 seconds to extend their deficit to 3 goals. Yikes. Laval leads 5-2 in the 2nd.

What's with Jiricek?

I saw that too. I wonder if they're just giving Jiricek a break to recharge or if there is a minor injury to rehab.

Knazko has been ok. He has made some mistakes though. He seems to want to jump up on offense a little too much for my liking, but I wouldn't mind it as much if he got back on defense quicker. There were a couple goals last home stand where we had forwards trying to defend in front of the goal while Knazko was still up by the blue line. They were back in the zone long enough for him to get back, but he seemed to want to hang up top in case the play went the other way, instead the puck ended up in the net.

The second shortie today was because he didn't pay attention to who was near him before he passed the puck. It went right to the Laval player, who scored on an easy breakaway. He also made a lazy cross ice pass and the end of the game that went the other way and in the empty net.

All the other guys have been pretty mediocre. No one is really standing out.

Sorry @majormajor, I forgot to hit the reply button.

Bjorgvik-Holm to Kalamazoo

They had gone 11-7 deliberately (I know this because they had a 12th forward warming up before those games, so they had 12 healthy Fs) some games to get him work but it seems their patience has run out.

Patience with Bjorgvik-Holm in particular or patience with the 7 D situation? I have no idea how he's played.

Bjorgvik-Holm. He's had trouble staying in the top 6 in Cleveland. The ECHL is probably the best place for him to get work.

That said, if the Jackets keep geting healtheir at forward, that'll increse the number of legit forward prospects in Cleveland, making 11-7 less palatable.

Monsters have a nice crowd for Micheal Stanley night. They have yet to play any of his music between whistles. Monsters creative team gets worse every year. Of course they are disappointing the big crowd so far down 3-0. My favorite ref is working the game, calling penalties that don't exist. Monster just scored to get to 3-1.

Edit: 3-2.

Edit: 5-2, Greeves out, Cajan in.:thumbd:
