If Grabovski is on the outs in Toronto I'd think we should be on it, especially if Kulemin can be brought in as well. Better long term C solution than Ribeiro at a 6x5 contract I'd think, especially if he evolves more defensively. Kulemin would be the perfect utility winger to put with Ovechkin or Kuznetsov or whoever.

In terms of raw size maybe but Sustr is a righty.

If they have the inside track on anyone it would be defenseman Nate Schmidt since he was at their development camp last summer but only a slight advantage.

Yeah it was more a joke, since the scouting report said he was huge but not all that physical I don't really know much about this year's NCAA UFA class, other than that people seem to think it's decidedly average.

He's a 5 million dollar player all things considered so it's not bad at all. Whoever we sign as a 2C we'd have to overpay more. His defensive game is getting very good as well so we could use him in a Bergeron-lite role.

Johansson is as comparable to Duchene as Schultz is to Alzner.
