'Bout time I gave one of these a go:

1. Has the threat of 'terrorism' ever changed your travel plans? Is it something you dwell on while you travel?

Nope.

2. Do you think 10 million dollars could buy you happiness? Think about the specific wording of this question.

I think it would enhance the happiness I already have. Money can't create genuine wellbeing on its own.

3. Have you ever stolen anything? Tell us about it. CLEANSE THYSELF, MY LOVES,

Once. Stole some chocolate from a store when I was a kid. Never had the urge before, or since. Weird.

4. What was the best party you've ever been to? What happened there?

NYE (Hogmanay) in Edinburgh, Scotland, about 14 years ago. Party at a friend's place on the Royal Mile, then drinking scotch and champagne on the North Bridge while the fireworks from the castle rang in the new year. Good times.

5. What would you say is your most prominent defense mechanism?

I'm chronically anti-confrontation. So my first defense, if at all possible, is to avoid any situation that seems unpleasant.

I just want to say how much I love this group, learning things about members other than the fact that we are all rabid Bruins fans. Kudos to @NeelyDan for coming up with the questions on Fridays.

You can visit my brother Bob in Glasgow.

Been in a funk the last few days...since Friday.... finally figured it out.

I hadn't had any iced tea since then.

Being from the South it's part of my DNA...my ph balance was way off..had two glasses with Christmas prime rib....

All is good..... now for post dinner nap with a Bob's Burgers chaser....
I had iced tea with my roast as well. :)

I wonder if fear of flying depends a lot on how old you are the first time you fly? When we moved to Canada, I was 9 years old, no fear whatsoever. My mother was a basket case on the flight (her first as well) and even that didn't bother me. I was more upset when my Spirograph wheels were spilled all over the floor and rolled under all the seats...lol I never did find the tiniest one.

I have a lot of other fears and am quite anxious but I wonder if I don't fear flying because of my age when I first went on a plane.
I flew when i was in 5th grade, so I think i was roughly 10. I did homework for the entire flight down and back. No issues. Didn’t fly again until I was out of college. Somewhere in those dozen or so years something clicked and I’ve not been able to shut it off. I’ve taken a half dozen or so plane vacations in my life and they get more difficult each time. No amount of drugs has been right yet.

When I was a kid I called the window seat.

Not anymore. I get quite nervous.

Everything about air travel has been a mess for at least twenty years. I'm glad I don't do much of it anymore.
I require a window, which I stare out the entire flight. I need a reference point for when the plane shakes or turns. Sometimes it’s the ground, usually it’s clouds. Night flights are hell.

Love home made iced tea. I make a big pot of black tea in the morning and drink a mug of it hot and save the rest for later to make iced tea (with lemon of course)

I drink Twinings English breakfast (QEII's favourite) when I get up - I cheat....I microwave it...with two packets of Splenda. If I don't have tea from my favorite Speedway (8726 Clare MI) I make a cup, let it cool, then put it in the fridge. NO LEMON.

Probably TMI tea wise....
