WTF is wrong with people?! I hope you reported them to the police. I would post the video all over social media b/c chances are that you're not alone in your area.
It has happened a few times to them already, it is unbelievable. They must follow the trucks around because to get to the door in that amount of time is the only way it could happen. The police don't care, there is so much of it happening. Their neighbour's son was over in the summer to fix the deck and someone stole the equipment he had in the back of the pick up while he went into the backyard.
For the record they are not “porch pirates”. They are thieves.
True. This is the 3rd time a package was stolen from them, there was another time a neighbour saw a woman take it and she chased her and get it back (that's crazy!). I wish I had enough money to get them out of that neighbourhood, it scares me what goes on.
They have seen people prowling the backyard one time on their camera, they have had a table and chairs stolen off the front porch, they can't put anything outside that isn't secured. I worried so much when they were in Norway and we were checking the cats and house every day. Fortunately nothing happened.

I was 6 but I do remember some of the coverage at the time. May they never be forgotten and may they all rest in peace.

Last night went to swing my leg off the couch.... tremendous pain..... Like an electric shock.
Figured if could stand up it might help. Six times my ass fell back on the couch.
Finally got up and it felt much better
Had PT today, mostly stretching
Also had Dr appt, he said it was a synovial fluid sac that had gotten pushed to the side, then caught on the way back....
Got pinched, he described it as biting your tongue extremely hard....yeah that was about it
All good

OT As someone with a journalism background, it was despicable and heartbreaking to witness some of the press coverage of this event. I wish I could say such behavior has changed in the intervening years.

Thats why when anyone here has a package coming there is always someone here to bring it into the house...the Cave is way off the beaten track (as Caves usually are) and it would be easy for someone to swoop in and steal it.
It gets worse, I just watched the video, the woman had a stroller and left it beside the car, then picked up the package, put it in the stroller and walked away. Was there a child too? Who knows.....
I would comment on some of the terrorism talk but afraid it would get political
