I've probably posted this here at some point, but there is a memorial here in Tennessee dedicated to Capt. Jeff Kuss, who crashed during practice before the show here in summer 2016. I think they did a great job with it.

Oh, I'm very sorry about your friend! I actually have a sweatshirt that they sold in Pensacola after that crash. :(

Somewhere I have a pic of them flying over the Twin Towers in June 2001. I might have others, I'll have to look.

When we lived in Pensacola in the 90s, one of the solos, Ryan Scholl, lived down the street from us. My parents met him but I never did. He is actually in the Magic of Flight movie they show at the museum.
Thanks for sharing that photo of your sweatshirt. I had no idea that they did that. That gave me a lump in my throat. Kevin and I got commissioned together and were roommates in AOCS. We also did a cruise together when he was in VFA-37.

Yep, lol. As kooky and possibly paranoid as it sounds, I have actually mentioned buying things I normally wouldn't only to myself and had many ads for it appear online the next day. I do not have Alexa or any other computerizedassistants other than Cortana btw....

Not really, Algorithims aside, I have seen these disclaimers before, and I suspect Cortana and Siri etc are listening.

a] What are you doing up at this hour?

b] Don't ask me what I'm doing up at this hour.

c] Put it this way. I used to be a data analyst @ Amazon. I have no proof and make no claims, but if unnecessary, it might be best to disable your camera and microphone.

NeelyDan's Friday Five:

1. A cruise in the Caribbean, diving in Thailand, or a safari in Kenya - what are you choosing, young padiwan?
2. Would you pay me $10 to get naked and sing Boston's "More Than a Feeling?"
3. After you've passed, our friend up there in the sky informs you that you get to return to your physical body for a single day to do the one thing you enjoyed most during your life on earth - what is that thing?
4. Remember all that required reading in high school? Were there any books you particularly loved? Any that you hated?
5. What was the first album/cassette/CD you ever bought?
1. Caribbean
2. Definitely not
3. Spend Christmas at my house I grew up in as a kid and that night go watch Bobby Orr & Espo etc at the Old Boston Garden - they played Christmas night the 60’s and into the 70’s
4. For some reason I liked the Outsiders but unless sports I had trouble reading but drawing ……
5. My older siblings were 3 and 6 years ahead of me so it was all there for me

The single I bought was WAR by Temptations???

I had a hundred 8 tracks and the Woodstock one was my favorite

I also played the Doors LA Women and Allman Brothers Eat a Peach and Crosby Stills Nash & Young

The saddest thing was I was unaware how great I had it - I had a dream childhood but didn’t know till I was an adult

You and I have a LOT of musical taste in common

I’m negative for all the fun stuff.

They sent me on my way with an inhaler, steroids, and the good cough syrup.
Gotta love the good cough syrup.

Avoided the steroids this time thankfully. I take 2 Augmentin pills a day and hopefully that is enough to knock this thing out.

Bah humbug! I won my DIL a $150 gift basket, it was delivered by Fedex and porch pirates got to it before she even got to the door - all on the ring camera. Unbelievable! They are having a terrible couple of days and I thought "the gift basket will cheer them up", then deadbeats steal it. Grrrrr!!!
