Nah, I don't agree with this. I think he's just doing a lot of small things really badly in this series for whatever reason.

I notice him screwing up now because he wasn't screwing up this way in the past. He's doing things like not covering his point or not covering the trailer, he didn't used to do that.

And that’s not rare with him. You expect a specialist who does nothing else to reliably and consistently do those things. ZAR is a player who can be good defensively but I don’t like the “he’s good at nothing else but sometimes does this well” way of labelling specialists.

This whole Sheary discussion sounds very similar to the whole Simon debate, where "Simon can't finish" is replaced with "Sheary falls over".

Sheary generates a boatload of chances and he'd be a 60 point player if he consistently finished them.

I’d be a billionaire if I knew the lottery numbers in advance. Go back and rewatch the period and watch how many possessions he kills. Guy provides nothing any competent NHL player couldn’t provide. Between him, ZAR, and JJ, I don’t know who is worse at giving the puck to the other team.

I just saw red when you put sheary on same sentence as ZAR. The former can provide some semblance of offense while the latter is basically a steaming pile of turd on ice..
