Matthews is getting to play with the best player in the world right now, it's also only been 3 games.


Matthews has been alright, but he's not without his faults in the tournament so far either. He hasn't been good in board battles at all for the most part.


These 3 games shouldn't change ones opinion between Matthews and Eichel. If you liked Matthews before, you still should. But if you preferred Eichel before this tournament that shouldn't be changed right now either.

I thought Matthews and Eichel are basically neck and neck, I don't think there is a major difference between them. I just think that Matthews has been clearly better than Eichel in this tournament.

Gibson has looked sloppy tonight, his movements don't look crisp and he just let in a pretty bad goal. It sucks that Murray is hurt right now.
