Matthews is going to be really good for the Leafs. I thought him and Eichel were about even, but it really seems like Matthews is a clear step ahead right now.

Matthews is getting to play with the best player in the world right now, it's also only been 3 games.


Matthews has been alright, but he's not without his faults in the tournament so far either. He hasn't been good in board battles at all for the most part.


These 3 games shouldn't change ones opinion between Matthews and Eichel. If you liked Matthews before, you still should. But if you preferred Eichel before this tournament that shouldn't be changed right now either.
