Yup, he's always going to be the standout on any line he plays on, but the exhibition games showed that even he needs the right mix of players to play at the top of his game.

The entire line have been impressive. Their styles mesh well together, they clearly have chemistry.

It's kinda typical of Connor actually, he takes about 3-4 games to get going when he's put into a new situation.

Was the same with the NHL too, he broke out in his 5th game I think and from that point on was well over a PPG for the rest of the year (even with the injury). I believe the same thing happened when he first got into the OHL.

The more he plays the better he gets.

Exactly, they are playing well as a unit. That line creates chance after chance when they are on the ice.

People keep saying this but I'm not seeing it. I saw him keep it in at the point and generate a chance. What are you seeing?
