There should be some sort of graduation rule where if a player has played for the U24 team already their National team gets priority if they want them.

He's not that type of player. Neither was Gretzky. He'll score points as you saw it, off the rush carrying the puck

Not entirely true. He created a bunch of his offence off the cycle last year. He's shifty enough and has the vision to find guys going to the net and to get his dmen clear lanes to the net, but he definitely needs good trench guys who can collect and protect pucks to get it to him. You probably won't notice his cycle game as much in this tournament because thats not how team NA is playing. They're just playing heavy pressure forecheck to create turnover chances and creating off the rush.
