My point was that they could've played better throughout the entire game, not that they didn't get outplayed.
if the ref called it a good goal, I don't think Toronto could over turn it
I trust Ovie's acting, that he indeed grazed it

Good pace.
What do you European fans think about games on the smaller ice? Personally I enjoy the faster pace and increased physicality.
It's pretty funny there's no room for guys like Lindholm, Klingberg and Brodin on the team. Sweden actually has a pretty good defense for their B-team.Everyone is praising Markström, and sure he was good, but most of the shots he faced were from a distance and with no screens.
Our D finally showed what they can do though. But I still want to see a little more from OEL.
Ekholm was solid. Still want Lindholm there though.

I think most people would agree with you.
I like it. Not that big ice makes for poor action, but I think I prefer the smaller rink. As you say, it gets a little more intense.

Lundqvist is playing the next game if he's feeling 100%, with a 100% certainty. Markström has been really solid, but he's not been tested that much either. He has made a couple of quality saves, otherwise it has been routine saves. So does Sweden ride Markstrom?
If this is a regular season I think you can go back to the King but in a small tournament you ride whomever is hot. And sometimes whomever is hot is whomever your defence is playing better in front of.

Add Edler, Kronwall, Larsson, Enström, Klefbom etc.
We are stacked back there.![]()
If it touched anything, it's Strålman's. Not sure how anyone can see that touching Ovi's stick. That part looks almost conclusive, and with the call on the ice...
I thought Hjalmarsson and Hedman played really good defensively. Hedman is one of the few that is elite in both ends. God I wish Detroit had a player like him.
