Sweden didn't play nearly as good in the exhibition games as they've played tonight. Very sloppy hockey, not tonight.

2bh I thought sweden looked okay in the 1st, good in the 2nd. Not exactly amazing.

Markström let 0 goals in during exhibition as well.

The Swedish defense is dominant in Europe...I think the only guy in Europe that would make it in swedish team is Roman Josi...

I'm talking about the goal that Lundqvist let in in Finland vs Sweden.

Well that has nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing to do with this game. Markström has played well, as well as one could expect. But he hasnt really faced any quality chances except for 1 in the very end of the period.

What happend in 3 previous exhibition games (for either goalie) doesnt matter when talking about this very game.

It has something to do with Lundqvist vs Markström. More specifically, that wasn't exactly the most dangerous shot nor would it have been a spectacular save. If Markström had saved it, it'd have looked like a harmless shot and like he didn't "need to work hard". That's what good goaltenders look like.

And it does matter if we talk about Lundqvist letting in 8 goals and Markström 0, sub 80% save% and 100% save% as exhibitions are what we have to work with.

Russia still scary in the o-zone. So much more firepower upfront, than what we have. Game far from over... yet

Love it, Finnish hockey fans being nice and respectful. :handclap:

I know that Erik Karlsson is very popular in Finland after his time in Jokerit. :)

Just looking at the roster its pretty obvious that russian D would go in meltdown sooner or later, this is probably gonna be much worse for Russia in the third

It's ridiculous how someone so big can skate so well, be so quick with his stick, be so agile, be so smart and know when to pinch. He's so underrated on HF.

People wrote off Sweden because they didn't play that well in the exhibition games. Heck, the tournament was already decided according to some fans.

No, really he isn't. Everyone points out how great he is ... he's almost an anomaly on HF in this regard.

Russia can only win right now if they get really pissed off, the last 5 mins. of the 2nd didn't look too bad.

Maybe it's time for Znarok to shuffle the lines a little? Maybe try Panarin-Kuznetsov-Tarasenko?

Muahahahaaa, we know for a fact that Znarok will NOT change anything before the game is over.

Hornqvist is way better than I thought. Don't see him much
