Found out today that our neighbour's best friend, a man in his 50's who was double vaccinated and always wore a mask, has died from Covid. Contact tracing led back to an anti-mask/anti-vax coworker.

Infuriating.

This stuff happens all the time. Happened in Bosnia, First Iraq, it happened to such a huge extent in Vietnam that there was a thriving black market dealing in the stuff through the 90s.
