I think that, if I knew there was a tornado nearby, among the first things I'd do would be to get the damn dog IN the basement, and then take the damn lawn furniture inside so it doesn't become a potentially destructive/lethal weapon flying through the air.
Don't worry, the 2x4's and other house parts that got torn to shreds will handle the lethal weapon aspect for you after securing the lawn furniture.

Beefette and many of her friends are horse people. A couple of them have been buying horse supplies and shooting the shit in the store, to learn that a lot of stores are asking specific questions before selling ivermectin. Basically if you don't know shit about the animals you're buying for you're hustled out the door.

Another apparent problem is legitimate buyers who are spooked by the shortages and are hoarding supply.

Hopefully everyone from the older generations buying this stuff who smugly mocked millennials over Gen Z eating something like four total Tide pods has their brains short-circuited by the hypocrisy.

So I did the Salt Water Marsh tour on a skimmer here yesterday and the nerd birder dominated the tour. I mean I wanted to learn more about the marsh and sea life and he did that but the bird was the word with the nerd. He just kept pointing out seagulls which he had specific names for and said he gets mad that people dismiss them all as just seagulls but that was essentially what they were no matter what name he gave them like the Warby Parker Warbler or whatever...

@JojoTheWhale or anyone else with an idea...

Running Windows 10. Have two monitors, with my second one on a switch so that when I work from home, I can plug my laptop in, flip the switch, and use my monitor, keyboard, and mouse. Laptop setup works flawlessly. But once a day or so my desktop loses the secondary monitor settings so I have to go into the display settings and click on "Detect" to get the resolution right again. Only happens when it goes to sleep with the laptop plugged in, but not every time. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Try a new cable. That's usually what that is.

If not, you can often just disable Transient Multimon Manager and that will sort it as well. I don't remember the exact Registry Key for this, but it should be easily searchable. If you can't find it, shoot me a PM.

Glad everyone is doing well. I'm still not home, but my place seems to be completely fine. My neighbor took a look around for me. From what he said, it was just some moderate wind and a little rain. The flooding was over the weekend apparently.

@JojoTheWhale

Yup, we got off pretty easy by me, thankfully.

Confirmed large and dangerous tornado on the ground heading along 202 towards Buckingham. Debris ball with it
This one passed mot far from my best friends home.

The cell with the one that hit the burlington Bristol bridge passed a mile south of our place. Was watching local news, and told the mrs, time to go to the basement. First time I've ever felt the need to do that.

Lil Swami is.in Manyunk and sending incredible shots of historic flooding on the schuykill. Fortunately, her place is.well up the hill and fine
