Main st in Manayunk philly is still closed. Lil Swami's friend still cannot get to her building, and of course, everything is covered in mud.

Both walk into the all-time world water polo team...

Peter might make it too but if it is against Serbia or another physically imposing team, with his nerves and their effects... probably will have to sub him at half time. :sarcasm:

"The blue team is playing down a man right now. Hmm, Jonah appears to have disappeared."

Speaking about cars earlier had me thinking this evening.

I really never realised before how few of my generation own a car. Almost everyone can drive. But so few have a car...

Of my ~20 closest friends, all in the age ~22-35 age bracket. Sheesh. Like 6/20 have cars.

I guess a combo these days of people with less disposable income than previous generations (though tbh most of those people have solid jobs and financial situations), as well as not reeeeallly "needing" one in most Euro cities, as just cycle or take public transport, so a lot of people just hire them if need one.

And I guess the demographic of my friends, well, of those 20 I reckon 15/20 or so live in a town with 1,000,000 or more people, which skews it.

Though the 5 good friends I have who have children account for like 4/6 of those car owners, which makes sense I guess.

Just watched the The Heartbreak Kid (2007) remake...

I like Ben Stiller. The Farrelly brothers made some good films, and a lot of funny films, and every other one I have seen by them was at least worth the time it took to watch and "entertaining" even if forgettable.

But f*** that was just such a bad film. I get what they "tried" to do if being generous. But even so it sucked.

Even if some of the Farrelly brothers films are "meh" they are usually at least funny. There were like 4-5 actual times I smiled in the whole thing and did not laugh once.

Genuinely sat there for a few minutes after it finished in disbelief.

It didnt work. What else should she do, besides that. She needs a better mental supporter, no asian joke intended, but she needs a Mr miyagi.
