I am surprised it hasn't been awful at work...usually with tons of rain we get little leaks or some old drain bubbling over...only thing it has done is keep customers away

This is about 30 seconds from my house. Luckily my house sits up on top of a hill, so I should be fine...I'll find out tomorrow when I go home. Normally this is just a tiny little creek, like not even a foot of water deep.

Anybody watching the US Open? It's raining so hard the rain is getting inside the stadiums. Fans are sitting there, indoors, with their umbrellas open. Weird times we live in.
The one court is completely closed while the other has a roof, but an open concourse. The rain and wind is so intense, it's blowing sideways onto the court. Wild.

Ivan was pretty nuts
I got so shit faced during Ivan and tried to parasail in the quad of my unit wearing a flak jacket, Kevlar helmet, a few poncho liners strung together, some 550 cord to hold onto, and standing in the bottom of a cooler.
Got dragged a good bit of feet but didn’t get off the ground. Thank god lol.
