Factoring in scoring differences between eras, without even mentioning the 180+ games he missed in his prime, Crosby is easily third on that list if not right up there with Lemieux.
You know, this might be a controversial statement, but I think he’s a pretty good player.
Now with 3 on 3 OT hockey, some young gun is going to smash thisFun fact: Sidney Crosby recorded his 19th career overtime goal tonight, taking sole possession of first place on the NHL’s all-time overtime points list with 38.
Maintaining a 100 point pace over 1100 games during an era where there were only 42 (and counting) 100 point scorers in 17 years is nuts.
Would have had a shot at 2,000 points in his career. So sad that without all the injuries, he would be at 1600 at least.
Yep. Lemieux would've been around 2100pts at 1100 games. The great part is that Lemieux only played 915 games
So there its is ladies and gents, what you´ve been waiting for - the Sidney Crosby milestone thread
Milestones galore:
"
At 1,400 points, Crosby is two behind Alex Ovechkin for 21st in league history. Only Mario Lemieux, Wayne Gretzky and Steve Yzerman reached 1,400 points with one franchise.."
With 3 (secondary) assists, Crosby has reached 50 assists for the 9th time.
That's a milestone, right?
Oof!Would have been a perfect story if the nhl had not closely reviewed the 3-3 goal and changed it to Guentzel (Rakell, Ruwhedel)
