Zibanejad was absolutely terrible in this game. Terrible. Forget having zero energy in OT when he barely did anything during the initial push in his shift...he was invisible. When he took shots they missed the net. He was so f***ing bad. I wouldnt have even had him out there for OT. He stinks right now.

When Georgiev didn't cover that puck up I knew they were scoring. Pass right to a Penguin player. Great coaching by Quinn not going with Igor who got a big win the other night.

Georgiev had a good stretch 2 seasons ago and has gotten the benefit of the doubt ever since. He is a mediocre backup, hence why no one wanted him when they tested the market.

He had a stretch last season where he had the best goals saved above expectation numbers in the league for a while but then he reverted to the mean hard.

Smith was benched after the third goal. He took one shift on the PK after that. he was benched MUCH earlier.

This is true. It all started with the 3 on 1 where neither Mika or Panarin showed any interest in their own end. Got hemmed in, gassed out and it was over. Could see it for a mile.

He played well last game. We know Georgiev is a shiny turd, that's 50% of the time at least a turd. He's not a pimple on Shesterkin's ass.

This game could have been won if George was better. Miller and Fox are studs, Thought this was Kreider’s best game of the season so far. Mika is not himself, but have to give him a pass, no training camp, no pre-season, and had Covid.

Had a MAJOR problem with this. If you are down, maybe you do that. Shortening your D, with a lead AND last change at home is, at the minimum, unnecessary. Instead of one bad pairing he blew up the entire back line.
