Georgiev had a good stretch 2 seasons ago and has gotten the benefit of the doubt ever since. He is a mediocre backup, hence why no one wanted him when they tested the market.

Bad goaltending in the overtime but I'm much more concerned with the way the team just gives up everything in the third period when they have a lead. If they're trying to do the "Vigneault turtle," they can't pull it off.

I’m so tired of losing in OT/SO to the Penguins. I expect the same to happen Monday.

Our goaltending needs to be better for this team to have a chance. It hasn’t.

Defending will hopefully catch up with age.

So much to be disappointed with with this franchise since the pause. They’re the easiest team to play against. They have no fight. Gutless club with no intensity and fight. Zibanejad on Malkin, that was awful. Bring Johnson back in, that’ll be his magic move. And the front office has made two no brainer picks, signed Panarin, who wanted to play here, and they got Fox. What else have they done?

Zibanejad’s laziness caused that whole sequence of getting hemmed in their zone, and Georgiev came out and played the puck like an idiot; then gave up yet another five hole goal.

Georgiev with a bad play when they had a chance to get possession and then a softie goal. Unit was gassed, wasn’t a ton they could do, but still, the overall effort in the final period and OT was disgusting. I don’t understand this team. I don’t know what causes it or if it has anything to do with Quinn, but the whole team just goes to sleep for entire periods/games sometimes.
