Which of these are untrue?
Bad goaltending - Yes

Bad defense - so-so defense. With the addition of Miller, I'd say it's improved.

Half the roster underperforming - Kreider and Zibanejad are underperforming. Some are overperforming. This is similar to most every team.

A terrible system. - Based on what? I mean, exactly.

A clueless coach - Same as most every other coach.

And a roster that clearly doesnt want to play for said clueless coach - this one you just made up unless you're in the locker room.

I'm not looking to get rid of him, but he's playing like ass right now. If Chytil were healthy, I would move him up and drop Zib down. There's no reason Zib should be getting that much ice time as poorly as he has been playing. Unfortunately, with Chytil injured, we are way too thin at center. Maybe Rooney can center the 1st line until Mika gets his head out of his ass.

Zibanejad has earned the right to remain where he is, at this point in the season.

The postgame interviews certainly suggest this.

Right and this is my main worry. If you’ve played the sport there is nothing more demoralizing than giving up a bad goal. It just takes the sails right out of the team.

Igor and Georgie need to steal a few games not just for themselves to get confidence but for the team to get confidence in them!

KAndre Miller is a defenseman. My whole post is about developing forwards

Ok but most would argue that developing defenseman is much harder than forwards. This coming from someone who is 100% anti Quinn but let’s just be accurate with statements is kind of my point.

you want to be accurate but continue to argue on a point that has nothing to Do with my post about developing first round forward picks

stopping at Ok would have been easier than adding the but

With JJ the bottom pair is worse, but I will give you so-so

Kreider, Zibanejad, Lafreniere, Kakko, Strome, ADA

Based on our perimeter play, slow and sloppy breakouts, passive forecheck to name a few.

See above. Also add in questionable player usage, subpar special teams, how ready we were to start the season, how ready for the bubble we were. See team record.

I see the teams effort for him. Or lack of effort to be honest.

Can I "Like" this several more times? It's really getting old. Very very old. Why don't we include the hot streak from last season?

The team was completely unprepared and was embarassed. It maybe old but it is not irrelavant.

Why are you so angry? I agreed with you in the original post and offered a point of clarification. Take a breath buddy— it’s all good.

Yes it is. It was last season. It was also part of an unusual set-up with a gap of months before and after the bubble. Those three games are a three game stretch, not part of any longer stretch of games.

My bigger concern about Quinn is the questionable decision making and lack of structure which is creating a losing culture that if it continues, will start to damage our young prospects.
Agree on decision making, disagree on structure. They’ve played too well in both ends for half or so of games this year to not have a quality structure when people are actually following it

I think we have a deep philosophical problem. Part of our team is east-west; part is north-south. We don’t have a unified roster. Until that is the case, frustrations will continue, regardless of the coach.

Ok, we have two wins in 8 games and are in the bottom 5 in league standings. Our PP and PK suck. Our players are getting into fights with each other. Our young forwards are underperforming. Our best center is underperforming. Does this not count either?

Sorry, but there's no logical connection about the true facts you stated about the team over 8 games and the record including 3 games August.

They're 16-14-3 in the last calendar year. Shall we go back to 2014? This is fun

We’re still playing man to man? I thought that was why we were forever chasing the play with open forwards in the low slot all f***ing day. Nothings changed.

we seem to have success only on the rush which is disastrous in the playoffs and also for this year with super tight checking.

When we actually collect a dump in, we cycle for two god damned weeks and either get a point shot blocked or a blocked/flubbed cross ice pass with 14 sticks in the lane blocking. Opponents need to string together 3-4 passes max in our zone and we proceed to grant them VIP tickets to the slot

We will agree to disagree then. Let's revisit in a month.
