You would post a photo of someone whose best friend is a strawman, wouldn't you? :sarcasm::sarcasm::sarcasm::sarcasm::sarcasm:

I wouldn't even care if they had dropped the points, had Jeff gotten out of his own way and given them the best chance to win. **** happens sometimes, and I could deal with that, especially this season when we are at least two seasons early for our realistic window opening (I know we disagree on this point, but I think we're not going anywhere yet). But it's ****ing irritating when he throws Flip and Manpig and other detritus out there for us to trip over. I know this isn't breaking news or whatever, but what the hell else are we going to talk about lolz.

Fact 2 : Are any actually available?

That is, the handful of top coaches who are better with a developing team are probably coaching one of those teams.
And some of the better coaches who might be available are better with a veteran team and might not be an improvement with a young team.
Most top coaches are employed, for obvious reasons, so you're either hiring retreads or gambling on a college, AHL or juniors coach.

As far as playing young players, that depends on the player, I don't think playing Sanheim more in the NHL would help his development. That's a judgement call, but each player is different, and a "just throw them in for big minutes" is probably not the optimal development strategy. Some players need to be "sheltered" until they're ready to handle high pressure/tough matchup situations.

How would we know if there are any out there if we never fire Hack? Just fire him and see if there is a coach without NHL experience who is better. Best case, he is, team improves. Worst case, he isn't, but it's not his fault, then you fire him and try someone else.

Tell me again, is there a reason not to fire Hack then? In this world where it is not a coaches fault for anything, who cares if you fire one dud coach for another, just keep spinning that roulette wheel until you land a winner.

I am sure that I speak on behalf of all Jeffs, whether here or elsewhere, to say how hurtful all of this is. Are we not humans? Do we not bleed? If you tickle us, do we not laugh? If you make us watch Lehtera on a PK, do we not complain?

I think the answer to everything you said is "Jeff". Except the tickling part maybe
