When you think about how terrible the first half of his season was it's amazing how well of a season he is having. I think he had something like 3 goals and 14 points going into Christmas.

He had a rough start. Similar to Giroux. Now he is roaring back.

One of the hottest players in the league right now. Thats why we cant let him have that kind of time with the puck. We will lose this game if we arent all over him.

Had nothing to do with positioning. It was an absolutely great goal. Spezza set him up in the slot, Lundqvist was set for the shot, he fans on it, throwing Lundqvist out of position, and than scores on a perfect shot.

Im all for fairly criticing him. Getting on him for that one isnt objective.

Here you go.

1st goal was ****. Don't know how anyone can be mad at the second goal.

Bad coaching. The lines that have been put together are horrible. No chemistry of any kind. Completely toothless.

I can't believe anyone is blaming Hank for the 2nd goal

I'm blaming him for not coming up with a big save on a tough chance to keep a game tied.

We all know the shoddy defensive play that occured there, but the elite goalie once again this season failed to bail us out and now we are chasing the game and the clock is ticking to another loss.

Make a big save.

Enough with the Henrik bashing. It's so tired. Every goal against is dissected.

Goals are scored in the NHL. Every single night on every single goaltender. This is the game of hockey.

When certain goals are scored, like the first one...you need to give credit sometimes to the OTHER team. That was a blast from the point. Hank should have had it, it seems he wasn't screened but you know what? (And take it from someone who plays goalie) sometimes when a guy rips an absolute bomb, YOU JUST GET BEAT. Plain and simple. It happens. These are NHL caliber players. He's a human being not a cyborg.

The team got it right back and the second goal isn't his fault. It's 2-1, lets step away from the ledge!

Remember when this board got sarcasm? :sarcasm:

It'd be sarcasm if it wasn't said for every single goal in every single game.

Really can't fathom how you guys can rip on the second goal when it's a PP goal set up with brilliant passing to a great scoring position on the ice.

Again, the 1st goal was awful. Second goal was good play from good players.

He has been making big saves recently. People like you refuse to acknowledge them though and only focus on EVERY goal he gives up. He's not going to get a shutout every game, get over it.

True but to be fair/objective this has been his most inconsistent year since being the starter

Our ONLY saving grace is that Anderson has been more inconsistent this year than Lundqvist. This game is still very winable if Hank stops letting them in.

This game is still very winnable if the team remembers how to ****ing score goals.

Though i'm glad Nash's bi-monthly appearance on the score sheet is enough to keep you happy for now.
