Hey, some good news.
I’m all for sitting him. Just not sure we can at the moment, we lack talent out there as it is. When Sid and Carter are back, that’s a completely different topic. It’s why I would sit him. No one should be exempt from being in the press box for being as bad as Jake has been for as long as he has been this season.
There are hungrier players that will bring more of an effort that can infect the line-up in positive ways.
Zucker’s pretty great in front of the net, too. Lazy Jake isn’t the guy we want in front of the net.Be nice if you could put a big center like DOC out there, but no
I hope Florida signs Dan Bylsma, f*** those wankers for waiting this long and being forced to.
They deserve it.
Also just watched the Sopranos movie and rewatching the show, fantastic gif choice. Everyone +1 this wanker.
What exactly are you bitching about tonight? We are dictating play, and are doing as well as anybody could expect given the roster.
For f*** sake man.
Huh? No he wasn't
Well that certainly is interesting on a couple of levels.
Obviously, whether it's Torts or not, Q should've been gone already.
Hopefully Torts and Bob got along in CBJ hahaWell that certainly is interesting on a couple of levels.

We're not that lucky, and Florida's GM isn't that dumb.

Tallon is still there in some capacity is he not? We're not that lucky, and Florida's GM isn't that dumb.
Torts needs to go to Toronto. Both to help the Leafs and to give me entertainment. Don’t take that chance away from me.I don't think Torts is a bad coach, but not every team will enjoy his style of doing things. Florida doesn't seem like a great fit there but who knows.
Hopefully Torts and Bob got along in CBJ haha

I grew up with Ford when we lived in the US (back and forth, if you recall), my Dad had a beastly F350 and a ‘69 mustang. You either grow up a Mopar or Ford lad in Murrica, I learned.
1) Sid comes backThe only place Jake is going to be in that scenario is with Sid.
Fwiw, I think Jake's adjusted his game to being a dude who cleans up around the net, either rebounds or deflections--which I think he's extremely good at, and only eclipsed by Sid in that regard. He can still post a buncha points throughout the season.
But that shit doesn't fly in the playoffs when you're build like a skater kid browsing the band t-shirts in Hot Topic and meatheads like Matt Martin and Scott Mayfield are allowed to bludgeon you without any regard all game.
Either his shoulder is permanently f***ed and he can no longer physically put any mustard on his shots from range, or fire the puck accurately, or his confidence in said shoulder is shattered beyond repair. Neither result is good, and he's the exact type of player, in the exact time in his career (serious injury and potentially damaged goods, plus several miserable playoff failures in succession) that should be heavily shopped. Either for a huge return of futures in an attempt to make the inevitable and fast-approaching post Sid/Geno era less painful, or a deal to try and grab a different, hopefully younger guy to build around moving forward.
