I don't think Florida's quite the juggernaut 7-0-0 suggests, but they're really good. Bob's been, surprisingly, extremely good for them.

5-0-0 with a .946 sv% and 1.76 GAA

I mean they won their division last year and fought Tampa very hard in R1.
If Bob plays better this year that makes them bonafide contenders. Before he became a meme the man won 2 Vezinas.
Adding Reinhart (currently point per game) certainly didn't hurt and Knight hasn't lost a start in the NHL yet.

Where's the weakness with that team?

Watching the Penguins get 74 shots on net but get shutout is some kind of edging kink for Sullivan. I'm sure of it.

If you’re not getting results 2 games in a row, you change things up.

Sullivan meanwhile is like hold my beer, see how stubborn I can get with this shit. Even if you don’t scratch anyone from this line-up, there’s changes you can make, that he never wants to make. He’s so “stick-to-itiveness” about his bs, that he’d go down with the sinking ship.

He’s a hybrid of Therrien + Bylsma imo.

Sullivan doesn't make roster changes. Its against his faith. He believes the hockey gods will injury players and dictate the line up for him. Have you heard the good word yet?

They’ve played an almost perfect Mike Sullivan hockey game. If someone besides DoC were willing to get their asses to the front of the net, they’d probably be winning.

Since the Flames scored, absolutely. Not really before that.

That said, the rest of your critique holds.

EDIT: The guy who hasn't impressed relative to recent play is EROD. Too cute with the puck. A couple of lazy plays in transition D. Not necessarily god awful, but he's not distinguishing himself from his linemates mediocrity like he has.

The funny thing is that Zucker getting ton of praise, Jake getting tons of boos from posters. Basically same stats and value. 4pts and -1.

Both need to play better, and have been playing about where they should be expected considering center position dilemma. Jake isn't going to continue shooting at 6% all season (10% below his career average).

Probably Ekblad's ability to stay healthy, or Torts now, if it's to be believed he's taking over. Though I imagine Torts will enjoy that team, and they'll run people through for him in short order.
