Yeah but they're scoring on the PP so it's a pretty big deal around here!i like some nikishin but that seems like a very hyperbolic post canesprospect. It is a simple pass to chucky.
At least he’s not with Spartak anymore. Before the trade he said he wanted to break the all-time games played record for that franchise which is held by a guy who was there basically his whole career iirc.Yeah, there is no transfer agreement in place between the KHL and the NHL. So we are waiting at his leisure, essentially. Right now he wants to finish out his KHL contract. Hopefully once thats finished he will sign with us.
" I think we'll see our fair share of rookie moments where he pinches unnecessarily and leads to odd man rushes, "A lot of his points are flashy shots and nice PP passes, but more than anything this guy just eats minutes and gets production. I don't think he'll translate to a Burns-level offensive guy (even though in my optimistic view I think it's possible), but I think it's likely he'll be a top 4 guy with offense. I think we'll see our fair share of rookie moments where he pinches unnecessarily and leads to odd man rushes, so we still need to preach patience.
He’s a really smart player, fast enough and with great size/length. We may see some rookie moments but I think they will be few and far between and won’t last long. X factor with him is definitely the physicality. Offensive skills are a bonus. He has the upside to be a Hedman caliber D defensively and offensively but with added physicality. Not super likely he reaches those heights but he has the tools to. He’s tracking as a future top pair guy and I view his floor already as being a solid all around 2nd pair guy. Really excited to see him in action here.A lot of his points are flashy shots and nice PP passes, but more than anything this guy just eats minutes and gets production. Hes on the ice 24 mins a game, hes already dead tired-1? KILL HIM...HE'S JUST ANOTHER ORLOV
Man, that galchenyuk video has me concerned about nikishin even starring on the same team as him. If I'm Carolina management I want nik outta there a.s.a.p.
I’m not venturing a guess at all that anyone who has played in the KHL had had a teammate who is a huge piece of shit. Or coach. Or owner. Or team doctor. Or all of the above.I'm not worried. I'd venture a guess that every player in the NHL has played with a POS player at one time in their career, or is playing with one now. Whether a player gets affected/influenced by a POS player is up to them.
It's irrelevant though, as Carolina has little say in getting him outta there.
He threatened to kill a cop when he got arrested this summer. In Russia if you’re rich that’s just part of the bargaining process, he was just too drunk to know where he was. What video? What happened?
