Wow you even hate him when he makes saves

Some posters here don't have the ability to understand that you can't control a rebound when stretching out and making a pad save on a tough, hard shot like that. It's about STOPPING it at that point.

Tell Bauer to change the materials they use on his TotalOne NXG pads in order to dampen rebounds better.

If he has the opportunity to put them to the corners, he will. Every goalie is taught this. On tough shots, you just try to make the save and the physics of a puck shot at high velocity against a pad like that will result in it coming out in front of him.

Defense needs to help out and clear the garbage.

What would not making the playoffs do for this team?

If we missed, we'd get the 13th or 14th pick, most likely. How, pray tell, does that help the team?

Hmm after a dominant first period, Rangers manage to head into the 2nd down 1-0, then proceed to get outplayed. I wonder what's next? Go into the third down 3-0, make a feeble comeback attempt, bring it to within 1, but fail to capitalize on a late powerplay?

The best thing would be if everyone stopped going to the games and watching on TV for two months straight. MASSIVE organizational changes would occur

This team always has alot of turnaround in players. They never get the chance to stabilize

Agreed, but thats a whole other issue. I was talking about that specific shot, which the same result will happen to all goalies.

He's actually been really bad. Everyone else has been good though. Although Staal (who is my favorite) doesn't look good IMO.

Eh, I'm not going to analyze the individual angle, but this is really something that should've been worked on early in his career. I really despise the fact that it seems they never told him that had to be fixed. I have a love / hate with Allaire, sometimes. I really hate that he neglected rebounds since how many times do we get beaten by a rebound goal?
