He has a really bad percentage on home ice, completely fine on away ice. Extremely small sample to draw any conclusions from. He hasn't even attempted 30 saves yet, which is mere minimum to draw any sort of conclusions.

My point was, on specific LOW shots like that, which are hard and you have the pad flush to the ice, you don't have the ability to deflect them to the corners, they ARE going to go out in front.

Back in the day, when goalie pads were made with more dense, natural materials, pucks died once they hit the pad. However, the pads were much heavier. Now with the new lightweight materials, HD foams, etc the pads are super light, but pucks explode off of them and into the slot.
 
Facts were stated

Team has a good first period, good zone time, can't get a goal.. Sharks get a break, and Hank doesn't come up with the save, and now we're chasing the game. Almost the half way mark. Still down 1-0.

Not a bad goal, obviously, but too many times this year he hasn't made the big save.

You personally have been assigning blame for the last 10 pages. We get it. Lundqvist has not been the best at stopping a breakaway this season.

It was a nice goal.

Move on and stop beating a dead horse.

How a guy can let up one goal and be blamed for 10 pages is just stupid.

Well, it's if he's ever criticized. Because certain people have to defend the guy to the death even when the criticism is completely constructive. Instead of just letting it go, it spirals out of control. You don't see the supposed Lundqvist "haters" debating people after he's had a good game. So I think it's pretty obvious why this occurs.

And good job, Stepan.
 
People are complaining about Lundqvist, who is having a good game, because they have nothing better to complain about.
