Didn't AV say all the right things about Cally, and was confident he would be signed? Why be mad at him?

You are right. I thought it was only about playoff eligibility. Though, with the acquisition of Diaz do they have roster space for JT?

I think it is...I read today it was about AHL playoff eligibility, not NHL.

It will be so nice to see a player that can finish on a scoring chance...please don't let Rangeritis set in !!

I see AV, the style he preaches, the way he's coached, and the teams and players he's coached, and then I see the direction the Rangers are moving in (which I think is awful), and I can't see him as anything but the ****ing worst.

This is a coach most well known for coaching a team that tried to win on puck possession, the powerplay, and pure talent AT THE EXPENSE OF (not in addition to), defense from forwards, physicality, work ethic, etc.

The team has been moving toward a country club since the Nash trade. AV is a big part of that. His hiring, followed by eliminating every forward who knows how to throw the body, or block a shot, aren't coincidences in my mind.

I was open minded when he came in, and I even thought the "Clean slate" thing was a neat idea, but I think he's been bloody dreadful.

Only players on the AHL roster at 3pm on Trading Deadline Day can be sent down to the AHL for the remainder of the the AHL season.

Glad we have 2 all star wingers, just no centers to get them the puck. I still don't see the Richards will be back 2004 days with him.

Oh, please. Callahan got traded because he took an extremely risky stand with his contract. Nobody pushed him out the door. Dubi was traded before AV. Prust was let go before AV. Girardi was just resigned, and he's the poster boy on D for throwing hits and blocking shots.

How are they moving toward a country club? By not giving a UFA a ridiculous contract? That's the exact opposite. Doesn't matter what kind of player someone is, paying them to retire and take it easy is the fear.

Nah... Give Richards the C (you think he is getting bought out now? Ha) and give MSL an A.

Surprised Sather didn't trade more picks and a few prospects for D. Boyle. Quick, someone get Torts back.

We did win a cup with basically a different organization's players

I'd be surprised if the letters changed like that. Staal and G have worn A's and have been with this team forever. Richards shouldn't have ever had a letter to start IMO.

I'm ****ing stoked for MSL, the more I think about it.

He fits AV's system to a tee.

Got to be up at 6:45am for work and I'm going to stay up and watch the game which starts at 12 uk time. I won't be tired :sarcasm:

No you weren't, he hasn't even been here a full season and you're ******** all over his style and system. How open minded could you have possibly been?

You're bitter over the Callahan trade and the direction the team is going on a personal level and so now you're going to condemn the franchise going forward.
