Thought it was a paper move so that he could be on the AHL playoff eligibility list (which is kind of silly in itself because Hartford has a minimal chance of making the playoffs), but they haven't "called" him back up yet. So...

It isn't about playoff eligibility, but AHL regular season eligibility.

The AHL Transactions website isn't always up to date. The paperwork could have been filed already.
