Real nice work on the GDT.

Pens catch a break with Montoya in net.

I'm not expecting much out of Sid Letang and Horny tonight

Sid played 21 mins
Horny 21 mins
Letang 29 mins

That was a bad job of coaching by MJ to play those players that many mins on a back to back in a game that the pens had control of for pretty much the entire game.

4-5min was PP time. Nothing to see here.

I think its still to many mins.

Letang had 5 mins of PP time

DP had 1 minute of PP time and only 13 minutes total, some of Letang's 29 mins should of been given to DP in a game the pens had control of.

Geno only had 17 mins despite the PP time.

Rather then having Sid at 21 mins, and Geno at 17 mins, how bout having them both at about 19 min?

I wouldn't mind seeing the Panthers get at least a point to keep them ahead of Boston and Philly.

I posted this in another thread - the Penguins might be set up for a really good March. Only 3 games in the division that month.

March of the Penguins, part... 6...

They need to get over the Metro Hump eventually, though.

Hey remember when the Penguins went undefeated in March.

Man, they were a dominant regular season team.

Tonight's main focus for me is going to see how the breakout developed. They did something way different last night but I couldn't keep my eye on it due to the camera angles. The STL defense was not able to pinch on our points at all. It actually created space.

It looked like the wingers were staying higher on the points instead of coming so low. That actually opened up space for the center to curl and take the puck.

Let's see how it evolves tonight. Could have been just how the STL defense was reacting.

Nice GDT, only thing I Noticed is the game is at Consol not BB&T center.

Anyone else notice the OP screwed up the GDT as to where the game is being played?

lol. whoops. don't know why i got it in my head that the game is in florida

Large parts of copy in Zaphino makes my eyes bleed!

haha. its actually Snell. definitely not my favourite font and the readibility is not that great... but it gets the feel across ;)

Edit: location fixed. can one of the mods change the GDT title?

**** man, i just had the worst dream that felt so real. Bennett was traded to Arizona for Vermette and I, along with rest of you were flipping the **** out. That beerfest last night did a number on me. LETS GO PENS!!!!

I don't know... for Beau's career it's probably best he move on and get a shot. I won't hate life if he gets traded. It sucks the Pens cannot develop forwards, but I know he would make something of himself.

You're a good man, Cole. I'm way more selfish. I want Bennett here.

Pretty hard to develop a guy that is/was more injured than not.
Bennett has to get over that hurdle on his own and prove something here if he wants to stay.

Well injuries are something you can't control. Actually playing him when he's not hurt though is something you can.
