Kakko is just too slow. Needs to work on speed next season. If he was NHL fast he would be a ****in nightmare to play against.

Chytil needs a call up. He's way better than Howden and Strome offensively. Rangers need a spark. Let him be it. Hell, call up Kravy as well.

Panarin-Zib-Kreider
Buch-Chytil-Kakko
Kravy-Lias-Strome
Smith-Howden-Fast
I think a bigger issue is that he doesn't seem to find proper spots, he looks a little lost. It'll get better in time though.

How the hell JG gets a pass after putting this giant piece of shit on the ice along with coach Max Headroom and no cap space is beyond me.
That is all. SMH..

The absolute most obvious difference between the first two periods and the third was how much more committed the Rangers were to defending and actually closing gaps on the Canucks. They finally took their space away and that generated a heck of a lot of chances. Rangers need to go back and remind themesleves of how they won the first two games. They were relentless on the puck and need to get back to that game. The third period showed they can be that team but they need to start showing that for a full 60!
I saw the commitment to defending better as well. Plus they stopped coughing up the puck unecessarily on offense and started shooting more

Yeah. Also put Brendan Smith with Panarin and Zibanejad. I think it would work because of his forechecking ability. Now is the time to shake some things. Also fire Quinn.

I don't even know how to feel about Smith now. I hate him, but he's also not crazy horrible this season so far. I might hate Quinn more for his psycho line combos and playing Smith 20 mins a night.

Fantastic 3rd period but Vancouver was sitting back so that skews it a bit. Doesn't really make up for the abomination of the first two periods either. This team needs to be a lot less passive in the defensive zone and at the blueline but I'm afraid it's unlikely Quinn makes any adjustments.

I'd rather have him playing defense than Staal

This has quickly become AV II.

Smith has done a great job far from an issue right now other than being overpaid by a couple mil. But he’s adding value every night.

Staal is getting way too many mins and it’s hurting us. I fear Brady Skjei is not improving and I don’t know why. But he’s got 5 years and 5 plus mil on the books. He’s untradeable. We need him to be AT LEAST a solid number 4 dman for us.

Interesting quote by Henrik. After you lose three in a row you need to show that desperation in the first, not the third. He once again said it was too easy for the opposition to generate top notch scoring chances.

Team wasnt desperate at puck drop. Is that the players or coaching staff?
