We should have traded Nash a while ago. Cap relief + decent return.

I still f***ing hate Honk's contract. These f***ing NMCs are f***ing killing us.
 
Well I said the first 5 minutes would tell the rest of the game. Lets re-cap
No effort to start the period check
Goal against check
Dumb penalty to give the Devils more opportunity check
AV chewing more gum then chewing out his team check
This is very hard to watch
 
Sometimes, Kreider really looks like he's on skates for the first time.
 
Rangers are shooting absurdly low. They won't be doing that forever. Goals will come.

When in the season will they come? Who knows.

Cally wasn't offense though. We haven't had offense still Gaborik, or to a greater extent, Jagr. We need a true sniper. Buch flashes that kind of brilliance, but I don't think he's the answer.

Not about offense. It’s effort imo. If you see cally running around blocking shots and hitting you feel bad for not playing as hard then guys like Kreider and miller get more physical and play harder
 
It's very frustrating.

Our GM is targeting and bringing in guys who drive play, and we still have a coach who prefers to be in his zone.
 
As a Rangers, Mets and Jets fan, if you would have told me that the only decent team in October would be the f***ing Jets, I'd have died laughing.

This is pathetic. What I've seen in the third period the other night and after the first tonight is some of the worst Rangers hockey I've seen since the end of Torts.

I don't think Nash had much value the past few years. It was mentioned by Friedman IIRC that other GMs don't rate him very highly. For good reason too. 30-50ish points, miss 20 games a year for 7.8m. Horrible value for his contract.

Hank's is bad too. I can't think of many worse contracts than his. But then I suddenly realize Marc Staal is still on the team.
