I miss Torts... this team needs passion

It's pretty funny how the wants and desires of the fanbase are cyclical.

In 2011-12, the Rangers didn't get past the Devils because they needed more finishers and needed to stop playing the six goalie system. Torts gets fired.

Now I don't know what the hell I'm watching, but damn it, at least Torts had a gameplan and stuck to it. AV's gameplan is sit back on a lead and man to man defense that doesn't work in the modern NHL when the average NHL'er is much faster and better at skating that they were 10 years ago.

The answer isn't Torts or AV. The Rangers should have been all over Babcock two years ago, but that ship sailed. Let Lindy finish out the year. Barry Trotz is the best candidate full time if Washington fails to advance past the division finals again.
