You guys need to get the **** off Bickel's back. Especially all of you going BICKEL OVER EMINGER ZOMG TORTS WHAT ER YOU DOING!

Eminger played 4 minutes last game. The #6 defenseman on this Rangers team so far this season is so irrelevant, we could be starting Jason Strudwick, as is, and it wouldn't even make a difference.

If it was a more progressive discussion like say, wow, I'm not happy Bickel is in the lineup, Sather really needs to explore improving the teams defensive depth, then I would understand. Pick your poison with Bickel and Eminger, because regardless of who gets the nod, they're going to play less than 5 minutes.

Might finally be time to see what Gilroy can do at the NHL level (again).

please tell me why stu bickel could even be considered over eminger. emi deserved more than 4 minutes a game. stu doesnt deserve the 3 minutes he gets. i do not see what stu bickel brings to a stanley cup contender. eminger is a decent #6 dman. stu is a decent AHL dman who should be no where near this team. the dude played 3:24 in what was almost a 2 hour game. that proves that the guys biggest defender (torts) does not even trust him. i dont understand why torts would rather play 5 defenders than 6.

LOL the devils played boulton and janssens all season long thornton got a ring in beantown and yes detroit didn't have one great example.. by the way we are talking nhl regular season and by the way fight is up 35% this season sure want lucic fighting nash? or janssen vs Callahan ? get a clue enforcers are needed

Yet, Boulton and Janssen were scratched down the stretch and are awful hockey players. Shawn Thornton is a decent 4th line player, one of the best maybe, not a straight up goon like Bickel.

No, I don't want either Nash or Callahan to fight. We have 4th line scrappers in Asham and Rupp, that's more then enough. Give me players that can actually play the game of hockey along with some fighting ability instead of goons who make a living punching players' heads off and hurting the team by being undisciplined and liability on the ice.

I think I'm more annoyed by Trautwig, Micheletti and Giannone than I am even by Bill & Gary on the EA Sports series.

Not really. I like them all for the most part. Micheletti annoys me sometimes, and I wish Maloney was on the TV broadcast.

That's the problem, they need a competent dman, they can't have the top 4 play the majority of the game, they'll get burnt out like they did last year.

for baseball warmups in middle school i got paired with a kid who couldnt catch the ball. coach made me run a quarter mile, 60 sit-ups, and 30 pushups every time he missed the ball
