Waited all day for this post?
Didn't consciously do it. Just didn't bother plugging it haha

More like Quinn's WebsterRelax, you’re arguing with David Quinn’s burner account
if it was game 40, I'd start being concerned.I’ll tell you guys I always give it to you straight. I’m EXTREMELY concerned with what I’m seeing from Lafreniere.
And here’s the thing... more so than I was about kakko.
kakko looked like a kid that needed to work on his conditioning and add some muscle and speed all things coming with age.
lafreniere on the hand SHOULD NOT be on the same level hughes and kakko were last year. He was in juniors and should be today way ahead of them both.
I don’t like the way he’s handling the puck I don’t like his compete level at all. I haven’t seen him throw a check. I’m not seeing his skating improved And I haven’t seen him take a good shot since game 1.
he should make an immediate impact. He should not be maybe showing a couple of signs here and there.
so when I hear the old he’s coming along he’s looked good his linemates suck etc etc. the sugar coating?
No no it’s not acceptable.
This isn’t another prospect this is THE top prospect coming into the league in years. This showing is horrific thus far and if this doesn’t improve quickly Quinn needs to go and we better find someone that can get this kid back to where he was because that should be PRIORITY ONE AND ONLY for this franchise.
don’t @ME unless you agree of course lol
I should not have to compile a dissertation on why Quinn is bad as a NHL coach. It is self evident.
His personnel choices ( starting line up+PP+PK )
+ his system ( transition, zone entry, forecheck structure, special teams etc )
+ the teams readiness ( level of sharpness in fundamentals )
= these results.
I explained this all already.
Maybe we just need more time but a good coach doesn't need half the season for his team to start playing like a cohesive unit.
guess who’s the worst forward among the group?
Can I get the 40 goal seasons first?Back checking and overall effort belongs with Rick Nash.
Kind of figured that, and yes......I understand you were shooting a wounding shot at your own team. A fan of Rangers since 1969, and you want to know how many rebuilds this organization has had? ONE. They're finally doing it right. (At least we hope so) Gone are the years of paying older players well beyond their productivity of the past, just to have a "Name" casual fans have heard of. REAL Rangers fans KNOW that you shouldn't do that, unless its an aquisition that enhances cup chances. Duh. I suppose thank God for the cap.Sabres so the I figured the low blow would reflect back on my own team.
With all the quality on your roster Quinn must be a disaster coach.
A huge part of our failed rebuild 1.0 was keeping bad coaches around that messed up both player development and eventually making players want out.
Once they figured out they hated losing they wanted a trade from Buffalo rather than trying to turn things around.
Now we're at rebuild 2.5 and still not a playoff team...
Actually I think they NEED TO appoint someone. Force "X" player to being THAT leader. Give the team an in house direction. 18 players wearing an "A" doesnt make them accountable and gives them way too much leeway to not accept responsibility for whats NOT going right.I'm still not down on Quinn. He may end up being the scapegoat, but somebody needs to step up and show some leadership. Is this some type of lost art? Do the players collectively believe that it's not their job? Guys used to kill to wear the Rangers C. I've had the pleasure of meeting some of the Rangers former captains, as I'm sure many of you here on this forum have. They each said that it is one of the honors that they are most proud of in life. Somebody on this team needs to step up.
And every facet of the game would look much better if Shesterkin or Georgiev could simply stop a beach ball as well as your top echelon players playing to even 80% of their potential. No, I have been commenting that they are not ready and not sharp since game 1. Everything has been off.
We both see the same symptoms.
You think; Vets play bad = bad result
I think; Bad coaching/management = Vets play bad = bad result
Since the play-in we have been bad, in every facet of the game.

The bolded isn't a great argument. So Laf was good against other kids. Kakko actually played against men the year before he was drafted. If anything Kakko should be the one coming into the league more prepared to play pro than Laf.
Let's give it half a season before we have heart attacks over a 19 year old who didn't play hockey for 10 months.
I've been supportive of naming Kreider captain for years. For whatever reason it never happened. I'm beginning to wonder if it's on Kreider. As I've mentioned, three more loses and pin it on Rooney. He has captained winning teams before. Put the C on him and ride him. If it doesn't work, lose him. This franchise had made mistakes like this before. Putting the C on Leetch instead of Graves may have cost a cup. It certainly cost another playoff run.Actually I think they NEED TO appoint someone. Force "X" player to being THAT leader. Give the team an in house direction. 18 players wearing an "A" doesnt make them accountable and gives them way too much leeway to not accept responsibility for whats NOT going right.
This is yet another reason as to why I want Kreider to have it. He is guaranteed to be here longer than anyone else. Zbad, might not be AND is injury prone.

I know. It sounds ridiculous to name Rooney captain but that is where we are. The Rangers have quickly fallen from sublime to ridiculous. Three more losses and pin it on Rooney.Last guy id want as captain is Kreider as he routinely takes games off. Rooney might not even be a regular on this roster this year let alone in the future.
Gasp....how dare someone see things differently? Goodness, gracious whatever are we going to do?Relax, you’re arguing with David Quinn’s burner account
That does not change the fact that he did not play hockey for 10 months, then had two weeks of camp and no preseason games. What other 19 year old has had to deal with that prior to playing their first game?sorry brother but no kakko was not the prospect lafreniere was coming into their rookie seasons. Just wasn’t. Should he be more prepared because he was playing pro ok that’s fine. But on talent level no kakko is not on lafreniere’s level and neither is Hughes. You’d never know it watching him play right now though.
I will say that Strome deserved to be yanked off PP1 and replaced with probably a Buchnevich. I would rather Lafreniere played on his natural side on PP2.If Quinn really wants to give him a shot at going, he should be on PP1 over Strome.
Not being on the scoresheet and taking games off are two different things.Last guy id want as captain is Kreider as he routinely takes games off. Rooney might not even be a regular on this roster this year let alone in the future.
