With our 1st? ... All in baby!

I don't think Sully would play ZAR now. ZAR literally shit on his system too....

@Big Friggin Dummy - when you told me to DREAM BIG.... you mean Bedard didn't you?

Okay, now I'm engaged! We can lose this!
All joking aside, I don't think they'll be able to lose enough to be in the Bedard running. But shit, I hope they try.

I get where you are going but ... managements job is to assess the situation and while a coach may HATE a player, you have to do what's best for the organization.

Sully/Hex's moves from protecting him (catering to Sullivan on McCann) etc. in sequential order look really f***ing bad now.

So, you don't like him... bench him and get something... we have plenty of players who's metrics are literally bottom of the NHL to waive.

Even a 5th pick is something...
The problem with this specific situation is that Kapanen had the highest cap hit of anyone in the bottom six, and they needed to clear that space in order to active Rutta, who is far more valuable.

Carter is the next highest cap hit and has a full no movement clause. Nothing can be done with him, even putting him on waivers, without his approval.

McGinn is the third highest at $2.75 million. The issue with him is you have two more years on his deal even after this year expires. So getting anything of value for him is going to be a challenge because of that length of his deal. You can bury him in the minors, but you only get $1.1 million of cap space for that, and it doesn't solve your longterm issues with the contract.

Hextall is responsible for all three of those contracts. That's why people are upset with Hextall more than Sullivan's usage of those three particular players.

Zucker definitely throws hits. And the Penguins broadcast team and a lot of you guys definitely go "OooOOOooh and AhhhHHhhhhH so much rugged!"

The opposing player meanwhile is assuming he got bumped by a small child that had wondered out on the ice somehow.

But how can this be? Don’t we employ specialty ace PKer Jeff Carter, according to our GM?

I mean, that's not true. I get the "shit on all things Penguins" (and I'm here for it) but Zucker can definitely hit to a degree pretty much nobody else on this team can/will.

Uh that's literally what we are all saying.... "bad asset managment" = contracts, trades, FA signings...

That sounds to me like a poorly coached team,

I guess Zucker is the line, huh? Haha

Zucker hits like ZAR hits. Which is to say he does and also to say the other team doesn't really care 90% of the time.
