I know I am in the minority here, but AV is in a difficult situation. He has 4 or 5 starters out, the replacements are not up to it. And there are a few of regulars playing sub par hockey (including Hank). So what's he to do? What can he do to fix that situation?

What does that even mean? The armpit is a place a lot of goals go in and a lot of players shoot for. If you think it being shot through the armpit means it should be stopped across the board you’re just flat out wrong.

Lmao imagine watching this **** show of poor coaching and zero effort and execution from the team and blaming the only guy who cares and gives his all every night? Hank is the only reason this team is even near respectability standings wise anyway. Truth is he’s going through his usually mid season funk, problem is the rest of the team is checked out so instead of overcoming it with goals or solid play he’s just getting lit up. Bad goal here and there or not this is 100% on the entire team.

All goalies will tell you a goal that goes through you 5 or 6 hole is one that should be stopped but yeah whatever.

There isn't anything. No coach would win with this current roster. He's just worn out his welcome and probably some guys have quit on him . Its time for a change. It won't be long before the coaching carousel in ny commences again

Yeah you kust might be right. Changes need to be made. and I would start with the GM. NYR need to do a much better job of finding young prospects. This team has become a patchwork, not a masterpiece.

Going to watch NC State basketball.

The thing that scares me with the Rangers is that it is not going to be fixed with tweaks. We are looking at years and years of bad hockey.

Until we realize that players like Zibanejad are not answers to questions that have been asked for 20 years. Drafting a Lias Anderson, while a solid pick, is not the breakout star you need at 7.

The whole reason the Rangers got out of hell was Jagr and finding Hank. Until they get a 50 goal scorer, this team is done.

Not sure - Rangers are a destination and will have lots of cap room after getting rid of Nash, Staal contracts. Not all that confident in management, but if they play this right, they can get picks, prospects and free agents, plus return of Kreider et al and be back in the mix next year or year after. But you're right, this is tough to watch.

At 3-1 it should probably have been 4-1 Rangers. I hate AV. Tonight’s on Hank and Zucc and Zibby missing glorious chances in the first. Easy to see big guy
