Going to watch NC State basketball.

The thing that scares me with the Rangers is that it is not going to be fixed with tweaks. We are looking at years and years of bad hockey.

Until we realize that players like Zibanejad are not answers to questions that have been asked for 20 years. Drafting a Lias Anderson, while a solid pick, is not the breakout star you need at 7.

The whole reason the Rangers got out of hell was Jagr and finding Hank. Until they get a 50 goal scorer, this team is done.

Biggest thing I’ve noticed about all his acquisitions: smart two-way players.

Outside of ADA, there’s no flashy guys. He’s also avoided the big tough guy. He’s looking for complete skill sets.

This is ridiculous. We're a few points outside the playoffs and they're playing with nothing. I don't understand why we would hold onto AV till the end. Anything would be better than this.
I used to watch and want the playoffs so desperately when we'd been outside for a while and I'd've been very f***ing positive being 3 points outside at this stage, but the whole organisation including the fans seem to have accepted our fate. f*** this shit! Get the coach out. Right, move some players, but what the players really need is a different system. The sooner that is done the better. Zuc, Zibanejad, McDonagh, damn it, even JT Miller, they are good players! I've seen lots of teams squeeze inn the playoffs and go deep.
Pathetic to see the whole organisation give up,and for what? A slightly higher draft pick? Doubtless we'll bungle it anyway.

Honest to god I’m watching on a delay. The Bruins just scored to make it 4-1 and I really believe the Rangers should be up 4-1. The Bruins score on every chance and our guys would miss the ocean from the beach. Our “King” is back to his October form.. 4 goals on 13 shots pulled a few games back. Then an otherworldly effort and a loss vs Dallas. Then 4 on 16 tonight. I swear This is the most unlikeable team I’ve watched maybe in my entire Rangers fandom. I’ve had enough of Miller. Get rid of Hank if possible. Can you trade the entire organization? Make that 5-1. Miller doing jack shit on the backcheck

But they’ll ignore Hayes not scoring and try to sell him as some defensive savant now. And zucc playing heartless all season. Or miller being the worst player on the ice multiple days a week.

AV became dead to me during last year's playoffs against Ottawa and his insistence on using Staal/Holden over and over and over.

Just a complete idiot. Needed to go the minute after the handshake line was over.

He was kept because Gorton knew AV would run high shooting % squads. That would keep the team "competitive". It worked, for about 3 months.

As a defenseman, you don't need speed to counter a play like the one Schaller pulled. Just stability and balance on your skates, focus on the attackers abdomen and engage. You have the advantage, not the puck carrier. An NHL defenseman has to be able to physically impede a player. Hockey 101. Shattenkirk didn't do it either, and I am not so sure it was because of a torn meniscus.
