Brendan Smith with an atrocious play on the first goal against with an assist from Tony DeAngelo. They'll switch roles on the 4th goal. Holden tips one in because he doesn't want to be left out and if he can't score against the opposition goalie he might as well try against his own. The shorthanded was icing on the cake. Then you see the team wandering around like they have shell shock in their own zone. Nobody knows what they're supposed to be doing. Everyone's afraid to touch the puck.

Honestly I'd stop playing Henrik for a while. He doesn't need this shit. The pregame crap from Micheletti about us trading Nash etc. and still thinking they could make the playoffs. Nothing but horseshit. Speaking of which--the horse is already long gone out of the barn which needed fumigating anyway. I get irritated at some of these play by play and color people sometimes--especially when they act like shills trying to feed us a bunch of junk. I wouldn't mind at all if the Rangers purged Micheletti too.

It was a good first period, and probably the best this lineup is able to deliver. It just cracks under pressure.

They just don't have the talent to overcome our goalie getting outplayed by a good margin.that 3rd goal sealed it

What does that even mean? The armpit is a place a lot of goals go in and a lot of players shoot for. If you think it being shot through the armpit means it should be stopped across the board you’re just flat out wrong.

Hank is the only reason this team is even near respectability standings wise anyway. Truth is he’s going through his usually mid season funk, problem is the rest of the team is checked out so instead of overcoming it with goals or solid play he’s just getting lit up. Bad goal here and there or not this is 100% on the entire team.

There isn't anything. No coach would win with this current roster. He's just worn out his welcome and probably some guys have quit on him . Its time for a change. It won't be long before the coaching carousel in ny commences again

Bad play spawns bad play. Hockey is so susceptible to it. So much dependency on so many things between the parts on a team. The fabric of this team is pretty torn.

Going to watch NC State basketball.

The thing that scares me with the Rangers is that it is not going to be fixed with tweaks. We are looking at years and years of bad hockey.

Until we realize that players like Zibanejad are not answers to questions that have been asked for 20 years. Drafting a Lias Anderson, while a solid pick, is not the breakout star you need at 7.

The whole reason the Rangers got out of hell was Jagr and finding Hank. Until they get a 50 goal scorer, this team is done.

All of our kids that JG has acquired came from similar development programs that all emphasized disciplined, uptempo north-south hockey. I’m telling you, trust me on this one

OK let me break it down without going into too much detail.

I personally own a small company where I employ techs that go out in the field and represent my company.
If my head tech is going around and screwing up all my top accounts due to incompetence, do I continue to allow him to put a black mark on my company and possibly lose all of the accounts he covers or do I step in and make the necessary changes so I can remain in business?
At what point do you, as the person in charge say enough is enough?
If I were JG, I'd be out of business..
