See... now he can't go to the Q. He has to break the mirroring timeline or collapse under the crushing weight of expectation.
I don't know what are you talking about , he is still 18A d+2 kid playing in the MHL? Thats a big L
Good call, soon to be just 19. Although, I would love for him to move up, maybe even vhl for a year.I don't know what are you talking about , he is still 18

Looks like he did more than just "score a few goals in preseason games"!
Good for him.
Saved. Might use it eventually but I have many other good ones!
I agree in the sense that if he mostly plays pro with some MHL sprinkled in, there isn't really an issue. But if he's mostly playing MHL with 5 minutes of KHL time every once in a while, it could be a problem. He's already too good for the MHL and should be in the VHL. Has the VHL season started yet?The past two days illustrate why I am not at all worried about Buch playing mhl games this year. SKA has teams of M/V/KHl located right around St Pete and have shown in the past that they will get their highly thought of prospects games in all three leagues.
He’s going to have lots of 5-10 min TOi games if he’s playing regularly in the K this year. It’s just how it works for 19 year olds in that league. Especially with a team like SKA that can reload every offseason.I agree in the sense that if he mostly plays pro with some MHL sprinkled in, there isn't really an issue. Doesn't the KHL have some type of U20 rule? Where they have to have a U20 skater dressed in every game?
I remember seeing somewhere that a lot of teams just dress a U20 and don't even play them just to meet the requirement. Could be something to the low minutes as well sometimes.
It looks like coach like Buchelnikov, let him be who he is.
He is fun to watch, I believe the biggest improvement he needs to do is get stronger and improve his accuracy
Junior age players do that all the time. Not sure, but I've seen cases where guy has played on day 1 and 3 at juniors. Just go sitting that pro-game on 2nd day.
Would be insane to play 3 games in 3 days.
CKA played today and Buchelnikov was not there also . I believe he will be mostly in MHL and some with KHL . I don't worry about it , his biggest problem is to get stronger , ether he plays 6-10 minutes with KHL or 20+ for MHL, as long as he doesn't get killedApparently the local VHL team played today and he wasn't on the roster. Hopefully that just means he's still on the KHL roster and not that he's officially been assigned to the MHL.
