If we were watching the Red Wings, sure, I don't care how it went in as long as it went in and helps us get a win. But, we're evaluating a prospect. I don't care if SKA wins a preseason game. HOW it went in very much matters in this context. I'm very excited for this kid, but the context of what happened should be acknowledged in evaluating his game.

I'm not saying they weren't lucky goals but the point is he has shown that his shot is in fact pretty good and he can score. For all we know he may have also had two perfect one timers but the goalie was even more perfect and stopped them.

Gotta give him credit for producing, but the hype train is getting a little wild. Frk and Pulkkinen were supposed to be Ovi lites. Scoring goals in KHL pre-season games doesn't make you an elite prospect.
No, but scoring a few seeing-eye goals shouldn’t be dismissed as meaningless. The bigger thing is how he effectively finds quiet space. It’s a trait that good goal scorers do, and you can see how important it is when you look at players like Zadina who struggles to do so.
He’s not an elite prospect, but there’s not a single negative thing about prospects scoring goals, ever.

SKA is loaded, and it's probably best for his development to get more ice time. He'll probably get som chances with the big club this year.
I think that's a better route than going to the Q

I don't know, man. With the current political climate I'd want him either in North America or in another Euro league.
I was thinking Q versus MHL only, as a certain someone played his d+2 year in the Q.
I would personally prefer him in Sweden.
