Watch some Islander scum run Cam over, laugh and high five his bench..

You just know there'll be some goaltender interference tonight..

Re: Marty Biron, I bet these guys all fly through some horrible weather during their careers.

As someone who is an occasional barf bag user, I can't even imagine. :(

As Biron just retired from the Rangers, I'm not sure he would have been able to sign. They'd better find a fresh body who can actually play the position, I don't want Girardi in goal if there is an injury.

They'll probably end up signing a former local college goalie or something like that.

I don't see why he wouldn't. He's just another player without an NHL contract.

I would bet if they left *right now*, they would be lucky to be here by 7.

Oh please.

If they knew Lundqvist was sick and not dressing at 12, they have 7 hours to go for a 2 hour drive. Even if it was really bad it would probably double the time and he would be at MSG at 4-5. Plenty of time to prepare.

Unless they had trouble making the necessary roster moves through the league, which is a different story.

I think the NHL might find that a bit sketchy. Player retires, immediately joins the broadcast team and has a salary, and can be used as a 3rd goalie on the roster without actually taking a roster spot or salary cap space. I'd imagine that'd be considered improper.

Have you ever driven on I95 in a snow storm? It took me 4 hours to get to Bridgeport last winter. Over 8 hours to get home from Boston one time.

Someone from my company (in NJ) drove just outside of Hartford today from 9-12. You could give it a shot, thats all im saying. Im sure there are fans that are attending tonights game that are coming from Hartford. Maybe not a ton but im sure there are a few.

Just got home from Brooklyn to North Jersey, fishtailed all over, it's pretty freaking bad out.

Sign a local kid and pray because no HFD kids are coming this way.

Yes. Biron retired. Lundqvist gets sick during a snowstorm which makes it impossible to get another goalie to New York. Just like the Rangers planned it.

Did anyone think that Hanks "sickness" is really whatever he tweaked during the Caps game?

If that were the case, they yesterday would've said Lundqvist had the flu or whatever and then could've got Missiaen here easily. Makes no sense to risk being without a backup just to cover it up.
