“@PLeonardNYDN: Ummm I don't think Lundqvist is on ice for the Rangers AM skate”

“@PLeonardNYDN: Lundqvist is ill, per #NYR. Talbot starting tonight”

Hank is a better goaltender than Talbot, that doesn't mean we should be concerned. If the team plays the way it needs to, we win with Cam, as has been demonstrated. Not to mention the fact that he's the probably best backup we've had since McLean.

Not a crazy notion based on this season. Even with Hank pretty much back to form, the team has played better in front of Talbot than Hank all season.

Not entirely I think, the game against the Sens, we started not very confident in front of Cam. We usally did so.

Now I also don't see any issue here. The team just has to grow in confidence in itself, regardless of the goalie. And they have shown that. And regardless both goalies have shown that they own.

Let's go Rangers!!!

Hope Hank gets well soon!

Fortunately, we have a backup who has been absolutely stellar up to this point. And hopefully he'll keep building on that today :)

The only game he was shaky was the only start of his that I've been to. He wasn't so hot against the Jets, but then again the team wasn't so hot either - not checking and lots of bad giveaways. The team is playing well now and he just has to stay consistent to keep us in the game

We may have a guest appearance from some lucky local to be backup tonight. I am sure there is someone with semi pro or collegiate experience in the NY area.

Poor Henrik. He probably can't stay off the crapper for more than 5 min. :p:

Some guys play "through" the flu, I have to say, even when I was in my best playing shape I couldn't go to the mailbox with the flu. So nevesis may have a point.

maybe Dan Blackburn makes his return :sarcasm:

Perhaps former mayoral candidate Carlos Danger? He's a tender at Chelsea.

It's nice to have a capable back up behind Hank....Talbot gives me a lot more confidence than say Biron or Valiquette ever did.

My understanding is that they use the term flu for illnesses that aren't what we consider the flu.
