NJ Hammerhead Bats!
Devils general manager Lou Lamoriello said he is “absolutely not†concerned about Larsson’s development at this point.
When I asked him about the team’s young players – Larsson, Jacob Josefson (making his season debut tonight), Mattias Tedenby – seemingly having to wait their turn at times, Lamoriello replied, “Their time will come.â€
“I certainly agree and support the lineup,†he said. “Sometimes young people have to have patience. My expression will always be the same: It’s better too late than too soon.â€

“There’s always a fine line, but that’s a judgment that you make and it has a lot to do with the personality of the individual,†Lamoriello said. “It has to do with the communication and all of that is in a positive light. We don’t ever want them to accept and be happy that they’re not playing, but as long as they understand (why) because we’re here to win and unfortunately along the way sometimes there’s a little disappointment and that’s normal. That’s natural.†Lamoriello said during training camp that it’s his job to create an opening on the NHL team’s roster when a young player is ready to play in the NHL. “I’m still of that philosophy,†he said. “That will always transpire.†He’s not at that point yet this season, though. “Not at four games into a season,†he said. - See more at: http://blogs.northjersey.com/blogs/...neup_tonight_in_calgary/#sthash.6HV6YWSG.dpuf
Poppycock! Tedenby was drafted in 2008, after various injuries and periods of struggle, he finally builds up, is stronger on the puck, and appears to have put it together and he will likely not get a sniff of game action this year unless there are multiple injuries. Odds are, Lou will lose him on waivers. Inexcusable! He already lost Urbom for nothing, when he's certainly a better option than the snail-like grenade handlers. I'm sick of Debonehead's mis-handling of the youth. I've tried to be patient, but it's gone too far. Shape-up or ship-out! It's DeBoer War II!
