In the year 2022 and people still don’t understand what betting odds actually mean. More of the money was in Toronto so they had worse better odds. They are in the business of making money make the Leafs big dogs and get flooded with bets from Leaf fans….not a great business decision now is it?
Close, kinda but not really. Toronto is a public team yes but lines are made in Vegas.
Yankees, Cowboys, Packers among others have this public tax as well.
That said, the game is played on the ice 100/100 times and they’re pros, but if Tampa is unstoppable in these spots / home they should be a little higher than -137. Feels like a trap line (as a hopeful Leafs fan)
