Wouldn't be the playoffs without Toronto melting down in Game #7. I am predicting a Tampa OT win tonight and then a Tampa blowout win on Saturday.

Toronto needs to close it out tonight if they wanna get out of the first round, I don’t think they’re winning a game 7 vs the back-to-back champs.

If they don’t win a round, a lot of jobs are probably in the line.

Coach, GM, stars on the team, another failure here and this team could be very very different next season.

There is pressure, and a lot of it.

We need it badly

Isn't that what they said last year? They already have the excuses built in this year, having to play the cup champs in round 1. Last year there was literally no excuse.

If you ask me, changes def should have been made after last year

I don’t think the consequences will be that high if Toronto loses to Tampa. There is no shame in losing to that team, it’s a coin flip of a series.

My opinion is that big changes should have been made last year, losing again …. It doesn’t matter who to …. Just reinforces that they should have made fundamental changes last year.

If the Leafs win tonight, then it proves that they did the right thing by not making changes last year.

A lot of pressure there. Especially having to prove it against the b2b champs.

But I don’t see how that’s relevant. The Leafs rarely find their problems with the team they are playing, and often find their problems between their ears

If they blow another series where they held the lead Keefe needs to go.

If they can’t close this series out, big changes should be made. BIG changes.

And it proves that it was the wrong move to try to run it back this year with the same group

Laugh if you want, Leafs are relevant and the Habs aren't.

Same posters pretending this is no big deal are the same ones who would be in here after they lost the series laughing at them and calling them losers.
Are y’all serious with this?

The habs had a terrible season but just knocked the leafs out last year and went to the SCF…that’s more success than Toronto has had in decades

Habs suck ass rn no doubt but weird to talk trash about relevancy about the team that just went to the finals

Anyways I have a feeling toronto overcomes their demons here and closes this series out tonight

Spezza seems to be huge for that team…great signing by Dubas

I would definitely like to see the Nordiques come back. I don’t think the NHL will ever give up on dragging hockey into the desert though; this is Bettman’s passion project at this point.
Doesn't seem right that Quebec has only one team, but Phoenix to Houston would be more likely. 4th largest metro in the US and a natural rivalry with Dallas all ready to go.

Otherwise an Eastern Conference team would have to be moved into the Western. The logical candidates, Detroit and Columbus are both relatively recent refugees from the West, so that seems unlikely. Bet on the status quo for the foreseeable future.

Back on topic ... My antipathy to Toronto is exceeded by my desire to see someone new hoist the Cup. Go Leafs (gag!).

They aren’t the same team at all, they sucked last year and they were arguably the worst team in the league this year. Different players, GM, coach, it’s not even close to the team that went to the finals.

They aren’t at all relevant to this years playoffs. Not even close.

Can't watch this so I just keep my fingers crossed. Take it home and we don't have to discuss this "blow it up" crap anymore. We can concentrate on more positive things for once.

The numbers support a Tampa Bay victory tonight.

3 units on Tampa(-120), sharps have driven the line up 20 cents since then.
