lol at talk of must win games 4 games into the season.

But it's time to start playing for 60 minutes. Let's get back to Rangers hockey.
 
Hoping to see the top line take advantage of some questionable goaltending tonight. I'd love to see a good game from DZ too, he's shown some glimpses of his talent on offense so far, it'd be nice to see him put it all together tonight and get a few points.

Seriously, it's ridiculous. I was about to get it, then I checked the schedule and decided not to. They need to catch up with the times, blacking out the game on their own pay-to-watch service doesn't drive people to watch the local networks, it drives them to find free, less legal ways to watch the game. Nobody wins.

It's not their choice to black out the local games.

We can't win if we can't score. It's that simple.

Yes Lundqvist is usually awesome enough to prevent most everything from going in.
Yes our blueline is great, defensively, and guys block a ton of shots.

But if we get scored on a few times, and we can't score? We're gonna lose.

Doesn't matter who it's against. The Leafs have proven they CAN score, and we've proven we CAN'T score even on shaky goaltenders with depleted blue lines. Problem.

By "they" I mean the people who have the power to change the way the GCL blackout system works now. The TVs place in the home has changed drastically in my experience, I think the blackout rules should start to reflect that. If I got gamecenter, living in Bruins market and not having a TV, I'd be paying to be able to watch about 25 of 48 games. That's crazy.

But these rules have been posted millions of times already. If whoever buys GCL didn't know the rules, they could easily look it up before they decide to spend $50 or so this season and usually over $150 every other season. I think it would be smart to look that up before you spend your money. And then after you finally see the blackout rules, you could look up how many games the Rangers play on national TV to see if it would be worth it for you or not.

The only people who are getting "screwed" are the ones who thought it was a good idea not to do any research first.

Why do they need to make the local games available? You can for the most part just watch them on the local network, no? Wait, you don't have a TV? That's quite rare and I don't see them worrying about the 1 person in 100 who doesn't own a television.

I don't have GCL, but anyone that does, have you tried using an ip mask? I'm not sure how the GCL decides if you are in the same market. It probably won't help with all the nationally televised unless you use an ip in a different country...I think masking ip is a gray area, use at your own risk.

My response would be: "have you watched him play d this season? It's pretty bad" haha
 
3-1 Rangers. We have brutal January schedule. This whole season's schedule is brutal honestly. So much focus on divisional games with no relief from crappy western teams to make up the slack.
