Not trying to invade your GDT but some context to this would be nice. Gardiner was out a month and a half with a concussion, stepped right into it and looks a little off. Hes being sent down temporarily for conditioning and what some are speculating as a tryout/show case for other D on the roster to allow Nonis and Carlyle to evaluate and decide who will be on the team long term.

wow everyone is so negative around here, you do realize the rangers have had a brutal schedule to open the season right? at bruins then the very next night against penguins, the 2 best teams in the conference, then another game vs the bruins then the very next night agianst a rested and desperate flyer team, before the season started and after looking at the schedule I fully knew we would be 1-3 after the first 4 games, relax everyone this team will get it going, I do want to know who the dumbass is that made this schedule, opening this season with double back to backers against the 2 best teams in the conference
