Whipping boy Richards actually played well enough in my opinion.

If anyone is getting *****ed out by me tonight, its ****ing Callahan.

Many players are in a position to shoot, but they don't. What the heck is this?

Zucc played a great game, but for him and Richards it looks like its more important to make a pass, who's gonna score?

Made something happen every time he was out there I liked his game tonight a lot.

He's been a game changer in every one he's played in.

Tonight he was just on another level though. His compete level is through the roof.

He's come a long way since his complacent stint to start last season.

Callahan is overrated. That's right I said it. Absolutely inexcusable to put forth that kind of performance with a playoff berth on the line. Two chances all alone in front of Markstrom and not even a shot on goal to show for it. Pathetic!

I agree 100%. I have been saying it for years.

It took me forever to get this to work since I'm on a Mac and still have no idea how this machine works. But, here was the scene in front of Lundqvist right as Kuba released his shot. Keep in mind, this puck was also deflected.

I do not blame Hank for allowing this goal.

Yeah, I agree with you on Cally. Dude had a seriously poor game. He's been very hit or miss this season. No consistency from one game to another.

Agreed with the consistency, he basically set the pace in the Devils game Sunday, and then I'm not sure what he was doing tonight???

I thought Richards was meh against the Islanders and Buffalo. But against NJ and tonight he was really good. Good passes and good hustle.

I personally felt that his penalty was a bad call.

Agreed on Callahan. How he one the Extra Effort award is simply hilarious. He thinks he's different player then he actually is.

Preaching to the choir on the bolded. Lame ass penalty and Cally winning that award was maddening.

Casual fan voters for you.

I do. I don't see how it can be said that he had no chance of stopping it. Hank makes deflection stops every game. All of a sudden he can't make this one? I don't buy it. He was asleep all game. He let in this goal and the second goal because he had no action and played like it.

That happens to good goalies all the time. The lack of shots is probably one reason he played so crappy (and one of the reasons I think Biron would have won the game for us tonight).

Perhaps we can blame the Rangers for not letting more shots on Hank, though. That will be the next step for some on this board.

I would as well, but our chances at that have been greatly hurt by the loss tonight. Ottawa has a tough schedule, perhaps there's a chance they will fall to 8th.

Very good chance of that happening. Ottawa has been playing playoff intensity hockey since the big guns were injured, and it's catching up. The guys are physically and mentally drained.
