It's all so tiresome
Hello everyone, my name is Alain Vigneault, and I am an idiot.
I mean I thought Buch has looked timid and a tad slow recently. It has nothing to do with his linemates, and IIRC, you yourself thought he might be injured. Maybe there’s something there.AV has created a situation where he doesn't put one of his best players in a position to succeed because of a few random games where the team struggles or sometimes its not even a few games, it could be a period, two periods, and one player takes the fall under this coach just about every time. Not some underperforming vet or the captain or anything like that, the best younger player on the team who's one of the team's most efficient and best performing players. And then when that player obviously plays worse with lower minutes, worse line mates, people say "See! He's playing poorly! AV's right!", when he's actually not right, and his decisions hurt his team's chances to win.
There are also other problems with how AV coaches, but this is certainly one of them, and I don't think some of the narratives surrounding this situation are grounded in facts.

If this is an AV hates young players and ruins them narrative, this has been dissected forty times over and it’s been shown to not be true.
I’ll add: him being scratched is stupid.
I don't disagree at all. Vesey never got scratched once and he's been garbage his whole career. Buch is struggling, but how the hell is he supposed to work through it in the press box? If he's not hurt or sick I just don't get it.Cool, I think McDonagh's been bad recently, I think Nash has been bad, I think Zuccarello has been bad, I think Zibanejad has been bad, I think Shattenkirk has been bad. Do you want me to keep going?
And, none of those players should be scratched because thats illogical. You don't scratch your best players because they've been bad recently. I also should mention that all those players get big minutes and big roles, and don't have their ice time reduced as easily as Buchnevich does, they get way more of a leash to play their game.
AV thinks he can pick on his youngest player who's one of his best players. He's a punk coach, and he deserves to be sacked.
He's voluntarily putting out a worse lineup, he's an idiot. How does putting out a worse lineup make sense or help the team?Because Carey has had a higher compete level lately. The team they play tonight works like hell. He wants to match that.
Opposite George!AV is literally acting like George Costanza trying to get fired by the Yankees right now.
This is obscene.
Whose the most productive point scorer?Leading goal scorer? 4th line
Most productive point producer? Scratches
Steve ****ing Kampfer? Playing
Buchnevich playing too well? Better play him with scrubs so I can justify scratching him.If only the damn enigmatic Russian was the Rangers 2nd leading points scorer and 2nd leading goal scorer instead of being 3rd in both categories AV wouldn't have to scratch him.
Did you miss my edit where I said scratching him is stupid?Cool, I think McDonagh's been bad recently, I think Nash has been bad, I think Zuccarello has been bad, I think Zibanejad has been bad, I think Shattenkirk has been bad. Do you want me to keep going?

He peaked in the '14 playoffs.McDonagh really hasn’t played well.
